Day 4 - Thursday 3rd July

Today Wen and Mum were visiting Gemma and the new bub Mackenzie. As i still had a cough, I did not want to see Gemma as she is not well with a heart condition. I was staying well away.

Gemma lives at Grewellthorpe, so we picked Mum up and went via Sawley and Dallowgill to Grewl\elthrope. Wen pointed out a lot of points of interest around Dallowgill where she grew up. We will be visiting her Dad at Dallow on Monday.

While Wen and her Mum were visiting Gemma, I had a walk to the duckpond at Grewelthorpe for more photos. Linda arrived to visit as well. Later Linda, Wen and I went for a walk to Hackfall. I took the short route and Wen and Linda took the long route. It was a lovely walk through the fields with a creek crossing that I captured in the photos.

As you can see below I was fascinated with the ducks on the pond ... at one stage there were 2 of them fighting and there was water splashing everywhere!

Dinner was back at Mum's.
