Day 18 - Thursday 17th July

We left about 8:30 to head off to Ripen to pick Linda up and then into Harrogate to pick up Mum. I also got a cable for my camera so we could watch the pics and vids on the TV at Masham.

After getting everyone on board we set off for Saltaire which is an old textile mill at Bradford.

We wandered around for a couple of hours looking at paintings by David Hockings and looking at the vast array of textiles, books, art supplies, kitchen equipment etc. It was very enjoyable but we were quite knackered towards the end.

We left Linda in Ripon for a rest and we took Mum back to Stable Cottage. With drinks in hand we spent an enjoyable hour or so with David Longster, Mum and Wendy reminising about people and places.

We enjoyed the stew we cooked the day before and watched the vids and pics. Tomorrow we are going to Staithes which is on the coast.

I must have had a brain lapse as I didn't take any photos today ... what was I thinking!!
